Had it for a year and being able to charge any hobby grade rc battery is a plus. This is a must have for someone with many different rc packs and different ways of how to charge them.
A good replacement for the Pro Charger.
I had an original Pro Charger that finally gave up after 5 years of dutiful service and went with the brand that's always treated me well. As the other reviewer states, the integrated power supply keeps things nice and tidy as does the built in balance connectors. I also like that they include a balance wire in case you're using a LiPO sack or their Stronghold safe charging box (Which I use and love!) which is nice. Lots of included interconnects. This one has been just as reliable as my original Pro Charger so far, and was everything I expected.
I already had a Venom Pro Charger and needed (2) more chargers so I wouldn't have to wait as long when charging (3) 5200 mah 4s packs. Anyways, I got one of the Pro 2 charger and like the fact that the power supply is built into the unit vs. its predecessor where it was separate. Keeps the workbench less cluttered. However, my cooling fan was not turning on at all during its first use and was getting very hot. I know this isn't normal because my prior model ran the fan all the time during a charge cycle. Anyways, before hassling with warranty claims, I opened the unit and found that during the assembly process the wire cable to cooling fan was pulled out of the socket. All I had to do is reinstall the cable and now its back and working properly. I just hope that the unit didn't get too hot before I fixed it. Kinda funny though, having a "QC PASSED 300" Sticker on the back of the unit. There's no way this should have passed Quality Control. The cable didn't simply off during shipment. It was evident that it was pulled on.
